Vision

Free companies from irrational regulations to realize innovation

In business, outdated laws and unreasonable regulations often stand in the way of progress. The more innovative a company becomes, the tighter these restrictions tend to grip.
Today, as technological and service innovation accelerates, legal systems frequently struggle to keep pace—creating an environment where regulation itself can become a barrier to innovation.
Our firm is dedicated to helping companies overcome such unreasonable constraints faced by companies.
We provide comprehensive support, from analyzing legal and regulatory compliance frameworks, including business model design, to engaging in policy and regulatory advocacy and making proposals to government authorities for regulatory reform.
What sets our firm apart is our deep expertise in Japanese regulation and regulatory advocacy in Japan.
We are a team of professionals devoted to mastering this domain.
By enabling companies to innovate freely, we aim to help make Japan a nation where innovation can truly thrive.

Firm Philosophy

Deep and Relentless Thinking

Our firm is committed to thoroughly understanding each client’s business and, for every matter, thinking every issue through to the end—while responding with both urgency and precision.
To engage meaningfully in policy advocacy, we must maximize the power of knowledge. For that reason, we pursue deep and relentless thinking and aspire to be an intellectual collective dedicated to regulatory strategy and reform.
Beyond legal analysis alone, we evaluate matters from a holistic business perspective and aim to deliver the most effective legal strategy.
